On Monday 20 September, the KWO submitted three concession applications to the Bernese Government as part of their investment program KWO plus. Submission of these applications is in accordance with the findings of the Bernese cantonal advisory group. The applications involve the optimization of the power plant infrastructure for the section Räterichsboden – Handeck – Innertkirchen, the new pump-storage power plant Grimsel 3 and the enlargement of Lake Grimsel. Building applications will be submitted at a later stage.
