Landscape maintenance

Our clean, green Grimsel electricity isn't produced in an industrial zone on the outskirts of a big city... it is produced in the outstandingly unique and breathtaking landscapes on the Susten and Grimsel passes. To ensure that this landscape remains intact, we try to build our technical installations inside these massive granite cliffs -whenever possible. Only the storage dams and the water that builds up behind them make a visible impact on the landscape.
