Bio-gas Plant Meiringen

A potential study, financed by the KWO and carried out by novaenergie in 2007, shows that:

• A bio-gas plant in the area around Meiringen is feasible.
• enough digestative goods are available (biodegradeable waste, feedstock etc).  
• The plant can produce economically viable heating and electricity, in cooperation with Meiringen's district heating power plant.
